What happens when you call

Three questions, then we dispatch

When you call (817) 668-3935, we ask for three things: your gate code or an on-site contact, your road type, and where the horse is on the property. That determines the rigging we load and the route we take. You get an ETA before we hang up — typically 1.5 to 3 hours for Weatherford, Aledo, and Azle, and up to 4.5 hours for far western Parker County.

A mature horse weighs 900 to 2,200 pounds. Moving that safely takes a winch and a flatbed rated for the load — equipment most properties don't have and most haulers won't send at 2 a.m. We carry both on every call, every hour of the year.

Recovery from any terrain

Stalls, ponds, ditches, wooded back lots, gated pastures off FM 920 — the recovery site is rarely convenient. We winch from where the horse lies to the truck without tearing up your property, and we close every gate behind us. If the ground is soft after rain, tell us; we plan the approach differently.

Removal alone, or removal with cremation

Some owners want removal only. Others want the horse brought to our facility for private or communal cremation with ashes returned. Both are one phone call — you decide when we talk, or after pickup. If your vet is involved, we coordinate with the clinic directly.
